Canadian-born and raised, Ottillie then spent 18 years in London, England, where she received accreditation as a training consultant for the global soft skills training company, Impact Factory.  Her training expertise has been honed over 10 years with global brands across an enormous variety of sectors.  As a Senior Training Consultant for Impact Factory, she has designed and delivered programmes for:

C40 Cities, Client Earth, Manhattan Associates, Microsoft Research, Nielsen Sports, Roche, Surrey & Sussex Police, Tecan, University of Oxford, and University of Reading, to name a few. 

She recently co-delivered a keynote speech on Teamwork for Liberty Global.

Ottillie is also an alumni of Triyoga’s British Wheel of Yoga & Yoga Alliance accredited 276-hour teacher training programme, one of the most comprehensive and rigorous training programmes in the UK and Europe.  She has been teaching Hatha yoga for 11 years and has delivered meditation seminars for students at the American University and the Royal Academy of Music, in London, England. 

Since graduating in the year 2000, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Drama and Comparative Religious Studies from the University of Alberta, Ottillie has performed internationally, directed and produced an array of live events.

Ottillie is driven by an insatiable curiosity about life, travel, languages, culture; and a fascination about people and what drives their behaviour.  She founded the Hold Your Own training company, to help people become resilient communicators.
